Active-In Adult Triathlon

This event is tailored for ages 15+ who want to take their first steps into the sport of Triathlon without the pressure of high numbers of competitors along with shorter distances.

This event comprises of 3 disciplines, a 300m swim (12 lengths) in an indoor heated swimming pool, followed by a 1.5k (1 lap) off road ride through woodlands and finishing with a 2k run (2 laps) across flat grassland.

There are 2 transition areas, both are grass areas outside the swimming pool. The first where you transition from the swim to the ride, here you will leave your bike and trainers and get a drink if needed. The second where you dismount from your bike and transition into the run.

The course will be marshalled by the Go Tri event team and coordinated by the Go Tri event manager.

We welcome both new people to triathlon activity and those that want to use this as training for longer distances. The event is timed but the results will not be published online. They get emailed to you individually following completion of the race so you have a target to beat next time!

Please note that a mountain bike and helmet are required and must be provided by the participant.
