Kormac will be performing his first live show in over two years celebrating the launch of his new record label in the amazing surroundings of the Pepper Canister Church on Thursday May 12th.
It will be the acclaimed producer, composer and performer's first show since his sold out run of his behemoth Equivalent Exchange live orchestral concerts before lockdown.
He’ll be previewing tracks from his forthcoming new album and performing a selection of his work from the last three years, cues from his TV and film scores and recent collaborative pieces alongside a string section led by revered conductor and orchestrator, Ken Rice.
Joining Kormac on the night will be:
Artsoul singer, songwriter and artist, Loah
Acclaimed poet, spoken word artist and playwright, Stephen James Smith.
Funk, soul singer Toisin.
Iranian/Irish multi instrumentalist, Shahab Coohe, playing a traditional Persian santoor.
One of Ireland’s leading tenors, jazz and tradition specialist, Jeremy Morgan joins the lineup alongside regular collaborator, vocalist, Claire Young.
Support comes from New Zealander Jonathan Bree for his only Irish date on his European tour.
