Wight Proms 2023 - Farm Yard Circus (11.00am)

A warm and cheery, family-friendly, farm-life inspired circus spectacle, the Farm Yard Circus comprises group acrobatics, juggling, theatre, and live music. Expect a bewildering display of group acrobatics and juggling using hay bales, wheelbarrows, a tractor tyre, and even an old scarecrow! The show is set to a score of old-time tunes and raucous rhythms that will bring the cows home, played live throughout.

Inspired by summer days on the farm and getting dirt in all the right places, a band of circus performers trade in their ruffles and sequins for wellies and pitchforks.  Where these two worlds merge, The Farmyard Circus begins. Using heart warming songs, wheelbarrow acrobatics, and a bucket load of stunts, they tell stories of working hard but playing harder.

This show is part of The Wight Proms, the annual festival of open-air picnic concerts on the Isle of Wight from 13-20 August 2023, celebrating comedy, opera, musical theatre and the orchestral proms.
